After 6 incredible years I will be leaving my role as DonsAction chairman. Due to a change in my work commitments, I am no longer able to commit to running DonsAction.
What we have built over the past 6 years has far surpassed anything I thought was possible when we initially spoke about an East Stand Singing Section in 2019… Since then, together, we have built a community that has grown day by day and gone from strength to strength.
There has been a number of things we set out to achieve over the years, and for the most part, we have accomplished everything we hoped to. That said, the journey has been far from perfect, so I’d like to personally thank all our members for their support and loyalty.
There are several people that without, DonsAction would not be what it is today. I would like to thank all past and current DonsAction committee members; the staff at MK Dons, who have supported us since day 1; everyone we have worked with from the MKDSA; the whole team behind DonsAction FC and once again, all of our members. You have all made ideas that once seemed impossible, a reality.
Moving forward, the remaining committee members have began the process of what is next for DonsAction. This won’t be a simple process and there will be the opportunity for some members to potentially become more involved. During this period of transition, I ask members to be patient and to have faith in the committee.
I’m leaving DonsAction proud of what we have accomplished to date, although I am aware that the job is far from done. I wish DonsAction all the best for the future, this is only the start.
