We were disappointed to arrive at last night’s game to find that the drum skins on either side of the drum were damaged.
Both sides had holes in, despite only one side being hit for a number of years. Whilst we don’t feel this has been done deliberately, and it most likely being down to the fact we’ve had this drum for over 5 years now, we have been made aware of people using the drum unnecessarily before and after games.
Replacing the broken parts is not cheap, especially for a voluntary group who rely on support from our members to raise funds. We believe we have enough funds to cover the repairs at the moment, however this will leave us very close to having no money readily available should we need it.
