SUPPORT DONSACTION’S FUTURE PROJECTS
DonsAction FC lead the way in The Wharfside Electrical Division Two after the opening 7 games of the season. The Dons have started the season with 6 wins and 1 draw, giving the team a 6 point advantage at the top of the table.
Their most recent victory came after a dominant performance against fellow title hopefuls Inter MK. Despite having 10 men for the majority of the second half, DAFC went on to win 4-2 and extended their lead at the summit.
Dan Hedges has been on fire throughout the early part of the season; finding the back of the net 9 times in 7 games, making him DAFC’s top scorer at this stage. Second on the list is Dan’s strike partner, Jack Hurley, with 3 goals to his name. He is closely followed by several players on 2 goals each. Our Number 1, James Vernon, already has a clean sheet to his name. James and our formidable defence in front of him, have been instrumental in the team’s excellent start to the season.
A huge amount of work has gone into making DAFC possible. The hard work from DAFC Manager Toby Ruoss, Co-Chairman, Jordan Aylett and Club Captain, Alex Hayfield is massively appreciated by all of us involved with DonsAction and DAFC. A big thank you also has to go to every Dons fan who has come down to watch the lads over at Fairfields every Sunday morning, your support is appreciated by all of us.
DonsAction FC are back in action on Sunday 20th October, away at 2nd place MK Walton All Stars in what promises to be another crucial top of the table clash.
